What's in a name?

After nearly two months of indecisiveness I have finally started my blog. My friend Bri has had a blog for several months, and I couldn't help but be inspired by her ability to share her life so openly with all of her friends and family. Thus began my desire to share my thoughts just as she has because I always have something to say, just ask my mom and dad :)

It was extremely difficult coming up with a unique blog title that represented me. And of course, I was then faced with the challenge of what the sub headline should say, what type of layout template to use, as well as the web address name. I have perfectionistic and obsessive compulsive tendencies, as you might be picking up on already. I came to learn that either I'm not very original in my thought process, or my ideas are just so fabulous that everyone else wants to use them...haha! So I've taken everyone's suggestion into consideration, and although I didn't use any of them they were definitely inspiring.

Obviously, I've settled on "Blonde Glambition." Something, to me, that will stand the test of time despite my continual need for updating. After trying every possible hair color in my life, I know that I will forever be one shade of blonde or another. As for the word glambition, I will let the urban dictionary definition do the explaining for me: "Glambition is a term that people use to define "real beauty" that involves caring about the way you look, but not sticking to perfect image. Holding one's own self worth." Once I stumbled upon this it was a no-brainer.

Although I'm already 25, I still feel like my life is just beginning. I have endless hopes, dreams, and aspirations. I try my darnedest to accomplish/achieve all of these while still being as fabulous as possible.

And there you have it...this is my blonde glambition!

  2. It fun to go to a first post and read what or how a blog was started. I wish that blogs were around back when my mom was growing up, or I was growing up or even when our three were growing up! so, now I hope to include old photos and memories (along with the art that I do), so that while those memories are clear, I can jot them down for our kids and for me to look back upon.

    Nice to meet ya!
    Blessings & Aloha!
